The JCC, in partnership with Temple Concord, NextGen CNY and the Jewish Federation of CNY, will welcome Jewish Book Council network author Rachel Simons for a book talk and cooking demo on Monday, June 1 at 6:30pm.

Simons, author and founder of Seed Milll in NYC, will discuss her cookbook Sesame: Global Recipes Stories of an Ancient Seed, during a tasting of kosher wine and her most popular recipes. Through discussion of her book and a tasting, attendees will have the chance to explore Jewish culture and see how it has interacted with other cultures historically.
