Join the JCC on October 13 at 6 pm as we welcome award-winning commercial photographer Hal Silverman for an engaging presentation  on his 43-year career n commercial and advertising photography.

During his career, Hal has created imagery for advertising campaigns, catalogs, cookbooks, packaging, and national marketing initiatives for clients including MackenzieChilds, Parmigiano Reggiano, Energizer, and many others. Chances are you’ve seen his work countless times—without realizing it was created right here in Syracuse. For more than a decade, he has collaborated with several National Geographic photographers, providing expert digital image processing and color management for their work. His own photography has also been published in National Geographic magazine.
